What does plant- forward mean exactly?
Plant-forward means we prioritize vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds as the foundation of our meals. We focus on whole foods rather than processed alternatives. Our recipes are designed to showcase the incredible variety and flavor of plant-based cuisine while providing optimal nutrition and satisfaction.
What areas do you serve?
Los Angeles county. Anything outside of our radius would incur a travel fee - please inquire if you’re unsure about your location.
What hours do you operate?
We don’t have set operating hours so we try our best to work around the times requested by our clients. Simply reach out with your preferred time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!
How do I Book a Service?
To schedule a service, simply click here. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time.
How far in advance do I need to book?
The Wellness Experience Package: We ask that you kindly book at least 1 week in advance to ensure availability, to source ingredients and to plan your personalized meals.
À La Carte: 48-72 hours in advance.
How will you handle food in my home?
We follow strict food handling protocols, including wearing gloves and hair nets during meal prep. Also, we always change our gloves if we need to go between cleaning and handling food.
What other hygiene practices do you follow?
We are happy to remove our shoes or wear protective covers in your home, just let us know!
What kitchen tools or appliances do you need to have access to?
We will work with what you already have in your kitchen. As long as there’s access to your stove, oven, fridge, and common tools (knives, cutting boards, pots, pans, etc."), we’re good to go!
How will you store the prepared meals in my home?
Glass storage containers are included in The Wellness Experience Package. If you have your own preferred containers, we are happy to use them.
Where do you prepare and cook the food?
Everything is done in your own kitchen! You're welcome to stay and observe as we prepare and cook your meals. Whether you'd like to watch, ask questions, or simply enjoy the process, we’re happy to have you.
Can I request specific dishes or avoid certain ingredients due to allergies?
Absolutely! Since we exclusively create plant-based meals, our meals are free of most allergens by default. Just let us know what you’d like to avoid or include!
How do you handle composting if I don’t already compost at home?
We will collect the food scraps and take them with us to dispose of responsibly. We are here to make this simple for you!
Do I Need to provide any ingredients or supplies?
We bring everything needed to cook and clean, but if you have specific ingredients, cookware, or cleaning products you’d like us to use, just let us know!
How long will the meals stay fresh for?
Approximately 3-5 days depending on the ingredients. We will table the containers for you. Just keep the meals stored in the fridge and simply heat and eat when you’re ready to.
What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
We take allergies and dietary needs seriously. Please inform us in advance so we can ensure a safe and delicious experience.
What type of cleaning products do you use?
We use only non-toxic, cruelty-free products—safe for kids, pets, and the planet. No harsh chemicals, dyes or artificial fragrances. If you have your own preferred product, just let us know and we will use it.
How long does the service duration take?
The time required depends on the number of meals and the level of cleaning requested. We will provide an estimate after discussing your needs, but please plan for approximately 1.5 hours.
Do I need to be home during the service?
It’s up to you! Some of our clients prefer to be home while others provide access instructions so we can complete the service while they’re out.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal, Venmo and cash. A 20% deposit may be required at the time of booking so we can lock in the date and time for you. The full payment is due upon service completion.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule your meal prep service, please review our policy below:
Cancellations or changes must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full credit toward a future service.
Cancellations within 48 hours will receive a 50% credit toward a future service.
Cancellations within 24 hours or same-day cancellations are non-refundable, as ingredients and preparation have already begun.
